Converts a value to a string.

tostring([any value,[string encoding]]):string

Arguments

The arguments for this function are set. You can not use other arguments except the following ones.

value any  No Value to convert to a string; can be a simple value such as an integer, a binary object, or an XML document object.  
encoding string  No The character encoding (character set) of the string.
